a. Contract Manager
Qualifications and Experience: Engineering degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 20 years working in large maintenance, engineering or, operational organisations or construction projects in the oil and gas industry with at least 5 years direct experience of managing large workforces engaged in maintenance and shutdown activities on oil and gas installations.
b. Shutdown (SD) Manager
Engineering degree or equivalent plus minimum of 15 years working experience in large maintenance, engineering or, operational organisations or construction projects in the oil and gas industry with at least 5 years direct experience of managing shutdown operations on oil and gas installations.
c. SD Coordinator
B.Eng/B.Sc in Mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline with minimum 10 years experience in Shutdown Management or Maintenance / Construction activities within the oil and gas industry
d. SD Engineer
B.Eng/B.Sc in Mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline with minimum 7 years post graduation experience, out of which 2 should have been in a shutdown support role or engineering position in the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical or similar process industry
e. SD Planner
B.Eng/B.Sc in Mechanical engineering or related discipline with minimum of 5 years experience, 2 of which should have been in mechanical maintenance and/ or construction work, as well as a working knowledge of other disciplines, including scaffolding, lifting and heavy transport, welding techniques, inspection techniques and all main NDT techniques, coating / painting, mechanical testing etc., as well as non-Mechanical disciplines such as Electrical and Instrumentation basics. Proficiency in Primavera P3 with minimum of 2 years working experience
f. SD Planning Coordinator
B.Eng/B.Sc in Mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline with minimum 10 years experience in Shutdown Management or Maintenance / Construction activities within the oil and gas industry, out of which 5 years should have been in a scheduling / planning role.
g. SD Discipline Supervisors
B.Eng /B.Sc or HND or equivalent in engineering or related discipline with minimum of 5-7 years supervisory role in the oil industry, preferably in a refinery or a gas plant. Experience in dealing with various cultures and government representatives
h. Community Liaison Officer
Purpose/Objective:To cultivate and maintain a positive relationship between the traditional leadership and regulatory agencies of BonnyKingdom in order to maintain a cordial and mutually beneficial company-community relationship.
Interface between Employer and Community groups to secure licence-to-operate for company activities
Develop relationships with a range of community groups, agencies and service providers, delivering information sessions, attending relevant community events, undertaking stakeholder consultations, promoting referrals and pathways into services.
To assist in the development of protocols that foster cross-referrals and appropriate job placement in BonnyKingdom.
Identify gaps in service delivery in the catchment area and develop strategies to address identified needs.
Receive community issues, feedback and grievances in order to generate a proper strategy for company information and resolution.
Carry out periodic community orientation on staff of company and be responsible for advocacy during crisis management in the event of relationship breakdown between company and community
Education: Minimum of SSCE Certificate but must demonstrate acceptable ability for verbal and written communication. Preference may be given to a post secondary institution graduate; though this is not essential if later experience shows relevant exposure.
Age: Not more than 45 years of age.
Experience: Must have been a resident in Bonny for a minimum of 5 unbroken years and be a known member of the Community with established relationship networks within the traditional, youth and government circles

k. Field Services Coordinator
Qualifications and Experience: HND or equivalent in the relevant discipline plus.
A minimum of 15 years work experience in maintenance support, 5 years of which must have been spent at a superintendent level managing large crews of skilled labour;
Extensive experience of equipment maintenance practices and procedures used in a modern gas plant or similar hydrocarbon industrial environment;
Extensive knowledge of scaffolding, lifting and rigging, welding and fabrication, painting and insulation.
Able to schedule and plan activities;
A good working knowledge of industry best practices for Health, Safety and Environmental management and permit to work systems;
Have worked as field maintenance supervisor providing training and guidance to technicians from diverse backgrounds and skill levels; and
A good working knowledge of maintenance documentation systems.
l. Senior Maintenance Technicians
Qualifications and Experience: ONC or equivalent in the relevant discipline plus:
A minimum of 8 years work experience of maintenance engineering, 5 years of which must have been spent in a senior technicians role;
Extensive experience of servicing and repairs covering the range of equipment types found on the NLNG Plant; and
A good working knowledge of hydrocarbon plant safe working practices including the operation of a permit to work system.
m. Project Engineers
Qualifications and Experience: Engineering degree plus:
A minimum of 15 years of engineering project design change and field implementation work, 5 years of which must have been in a modern gas or oil production industrial environment; and
An extensive working knowledge of all relevant engineering standards and codes of practice relevant to work with NLNG.
n. Design Engineer
Qualifications and Experience: Engineering Degree or HND in Engineering plus a minimum of 10 years experience in oil and gas installations associated with project technical design and construction. Should also have experience in the development and production of work scope and cost estimating.
o. Coded Welder (Al, SS, Cu Ni)
Qualifications and certification as coded welder with relevant experience as follows:
Coded Welders shall be required to submit records of welder or welder operator qualification tests in accordance with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section IX demonstrating that the following can be covered:
GMAW and GTAW of Aluminium, all positions;
SMAW of A 553 Tp1 (9% Ni), all positions; and
SMAW and GTAW of Austenitic Stainless Steel (304, 316), all positions.
p. QA/QC Inspector
Qualifications and Experience: HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years experience in the oil and gas industry encompassing engineering, inspection and certification services including comprehensive knowledge of welding, welding techniques, NDT, off stream inspection techniques, coating/painting, mechanical testing, design/construction/fabrication techniques to international codes of practice, failure investigation, audits on QMS, Quality plans, QA/QC procedures etc.
q. Lifting Engineer.
Qualification and Experience: BSc/BE/BTech/HND in Mechanical Engineering, LOLER & LEEA qualified (even part 1 is preferable), Ability to use design software (like AutoCAD) will be an advantage. Candidate should have minimum 3 years work experience as Heavy Lift Engineer, 5 years minimum, within the Oil and Gas industry and must have good interpersonal skill, self sufficient and adaptable, confident in site work situations and under pressure.
Candidate shall be responsible for:
Design of all lifts within and outside the company facility
Review third party lifting design / plan
Ensure safety of all lift. Comply with statutory regulations and organisational safety requirements.
Produce lifting design / plan.
Ensure that lifting design / plan are understood by lifting team before lift
Work with the lifting team to ensure that lifting is carried out within design / safety window
Achieve all lifting design / plan in company management system
r. Scaffold Personnel
Scaffolding supervisor: Minimum 10 years on the job experience after receiving CITB advanced Scaffolder qualification;
Scaffold Inspector: Minimum 5 years experience after receiving CITB advanced Scaffolder qualification;
Advanced Scaffolder: Minimum 2 years on the job training and experience as a basic Scaffolder;
Basic Scaffolder: Minimum 1 year on-site training and experience as a trainee Scaffolder;
Trainee Scaffolder: Minimum 1 year on-site training and experience as a scaffold labourer;
s. Rigging Personnel
Assistant Rigger: First 12 Months, while receiving on the job training and experience and after these first 12 months, it is assessed whether the potential is there for Rigger training.
1st year Improver Rigger: 1 – 12 months on the job training and experience plus class room training;
2nd Year Improver Rigger: 12 – 24 months on the job training and experience plus class room training;
3rd Year Improver Rigger: 24 – 36 months on the job training and experience plus class room training; and
Qualified Rigger: after 36 months on the job training and experience plus class room training and having achieved all of the criteria , staff will be assessed for further training for supervisory role
