Procurement & Logistics Division is a distinct business unit of Dorman Long with the mandate to provide high value steel products, valves and oilfield equipment and materials principally to the Nigerian Oil & Gas Industry and to the manufacturing and allied industries. In pursuance of this, Dorman Long has developed a portfolio of strong business relationships with leading international original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and supply houses around the world.

This division is developing rapidly with the objective of becoming the country’s leading supply house for these specialist items.

• Steel Products – In partnership with TATA CORUS Steel, Europe’s largest manufacturer of steel with a renown image as provider of quality steel products.
• Valves – In collaboration with AUDCO India Limited (Larsen & Toubro). These products are renown for combining quality and cost effectiveness.
• Oilfield Equipment & Materials – Supported by Wilson Supply, a Houston, Texas based international Oil & Gas equipment supply house with over $2 billion annual turnover.
• Process Solutions For Online Desanding, Produced Water Treatment and Gas Handling – In technical collaboration with Merpro (UK) Limited.

Through its developed partnership/supplier agreement with Audco India Limited , a Larsen & Toubro company  for the field of valve supplies and maintenance the Division now offers a wide range of specialist valves, particularly for the oil and gas industry. Audco is a leading worldwide provider of flow control solutions and has a global marketing network in more than fifty cities around the world.

Audco Valves have been accepted by key end users around the world such as Shell, Exxon, Total, ChevronTexaco etc after rigorous audits of their manufacturing facilities and It has long term worldwide agreements with major EPC contractors such as Technip, Snamprogetti, Halliburton and Alstom among others.

Audco has supplied valves to key projects worldwide including NLNG Bonny Trains 4, 5, & 6, Oryx GTL Dolphin Qatar, KOC Projects Kuwait, JCP Ethylene Project Saudi Arabia and CSPC Nanhai China etc. The quality management system is ISO 9001:2000 compliant.

This Division has also recently commissioned a Valve Testing, Maintenance and Repairs shop at its Idi-Oro facility. It is envisaged that this will be upgraded to an assembling plant for the Audco range of valves.

It has more than 98,000 product lines inventoried items. Given this large inventory, Wilson DL can supply the entire range of products for all seismic, drilling, exploration and production operations in the Oil & Gas Industry in addition to the refinery industry.
