Job Title: Chief Accountant

Job Objective/ Purpose of Job

Will be responsible for overseeing the entire accounting cycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, financial reporting & compliance.
the chief accountant will lead a team of accounting professionals, play a pivotal role in maintaining financial integrity and supporting strategic decision-making and growth initiatives.

Job Duties/ Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

1. Financial Reporting & Compliance:
• Oversee the preparation and submission of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
• Provide insights into financial performance and trends to senior management.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
• Partner with other departments (e.g., Operations, HR) to ensure alignment on financial matters.
2. Supervision and Team Leadership:
• Manage the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.

• Lead and manage the accounting team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure efficient & accurate financial book keeping entries and ultimately reporting.
• Ensure the team’s effective performance and continuous professional development.
3. Month-End Closing:
• Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and compliance with accounting standards.
4. Audit Coordination:
• Coordinate and manage external audits in conjunction with the Senior Finance Manager, ensuring timely and accurate provision of information to auditors.
• Address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
5. Internal Controls:
• Develop, implement, and monitor internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies.
6. Tax Compliance:
• Oversee tax compliance activities, working closely with tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely submission of tax returns.
• Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and assess their impact on the company.

QUALIFICATION SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field;
• MBA or professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a plus.
• Must have a chartered professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA).
• A minimum of 8 years on the job experience
• With 3 years proven experience as a Chief accountant in the oil and gas engineering services industry.

Job Title: Senior Project Cost Controller

Job Objective/ Purpose of Job

Senior Project Cost Controller will play a critical role in managing and controlling project costs, ensuring that projects are completed within budgetary constraints while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. This role requires strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.

Job Duties/ Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

Project Cost Management:
• Develop and implement robust project cost control processes and procedures.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on project costs, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
• Prepare and present cost forecasts, cost reports, and other financial analyses to project stakeholders.
• Manage project cost baselines and ensure adherence to established cost control procedures.
• Review and approve invoices for accuracy and completeness.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Work closely with project managers to develop project budgets and forecasts.

• 6-8 years proven experience in project cost control within the oil and gas engineering services industry.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring competitive and attractive compensation and benefits packages to support our organization’s talent acquisition and retention goals.

Job Duties/ Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

• Manage and administer payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits policies and strategies that align with organizational goals and industry best practices.
• Analyze compensation trends and conduct benchmarking studies to ensure competitiveness in the market.
• Collaborate with HR leadership to design and communicate employee compensation packages, including base salary, bonuses, and incentives.
